Common questions
Can I bring content over from Word or Excel?
Yes. You can preview and import Word and Excel files, or attach files to an entry.
Are entries immutable after signing?
Signing locks the entry. Later additions are recorded as amendments with the author, timestamp and text.
Can several people write at the same time?
Yes. Active participants are visible in the entry. Comments and edit suggestions can be attached to passages and then reviewed.
Can I go back to an earlier state?
Yes. You can compare and restore earlier versions in the version history.
What about sequences, plates and charts?
Sequences, plate layouts and charts can be inserted as dedicated blocks in an entry.
Does the journal work offline?
Reading and writing require an internet connection. Offline synchronisation is not currently offered.
