Cookie Policy

This policy describes which cookies and comparable storage technologies labnote-light.com and the LabNote Light application set or read in the browser. The controller is Blck Horizon Solutions GmbH. Legal bases, recipients and the rights of data subjects are set out in the Privacy Policy.
1. Principle
LabNote Light does not use advertising or marketing cookies and no third-party analytics services. For the most part, entries in the browser's storage (Local Storage, Session Storage, IndexedDB) that are necessary for operation are used. Cookies are only set by the payment provider Stripe during the payment process.
2. Legal bases
Technically necessary entries are based on Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, the subsequent processing on Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. All other entries and the statistics on public pages require consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
3. Giving and withdrawing consent
On the first visit to a public page, a banner appears with the options "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Customise". Without a decision, only the necessary entries remain. The choice can be withdrawn or changed at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer; the stored choice is deleted and the banner appears again. To document consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR), the choice, the version of this policy, a random identifier and the browser identifier are stored on the server and deleted after 180 days.
4. Categories
Necessary: entries without which login, language selection, consent management, live chat, backup while editing and payment do not work. They cannot be deselected in the banner.
Statistics: With consent, page views (path, referrer, browser language) on public pages are transmitted to our own database. No additional entries are set in the browser for this. Within the logged-in application, collection takes place as described in clause 6 of the Privacy Policy.

6. Browser settings
Cookies and browser storage can be viewed and deleted in the browser settings. If necessary entries are blocked or deleted, login and payment do not work or only to a limited extent.

This policy is updated as soon as the technologies used change. The version currently available on this page applies.
