Accessibility at LabNote.Light

Scope

This information covers the public website and the signed-in LabNote.Light application. Automated checks carried out so far cover selected pages and views, not every workflow or exported document.

Measures in place

• The public website provides a skip link to the main content and labelled page regions.
• Shared controls have visible keyboard focus indicators. Standard dialogs support keyboard interaction and closing with Escape.
• The public website declares its page language as German or English.
• Automated tests check text contrast, accessible names and the structure of selected pages, among other criteria.
• The central animation settings take the system preference for reduced motion into account.

Known limitations

• Some data tables and charts inside the application are not yet fully described for screen readers.
• Some controls still lack accessible names or complete keyboard support.
• Secondary labels and complex views have not all been checked for sufficient contrast.
• PDF outputs do not yet consistently include a document structure suitable for screen readers.

Testing status

WCAG 2.1 AA is the reference for our checks. Automated tests can assess only part of its requirements. An independent external audit, including screen reader testing, is still pending. Full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA has therefore not been established.
